Why Man Does Not Take Action

Why Man Does Not Take Action

Why man does not take action

Man has a goal.

His goal is “X.”

He sketches out the roadmap leading to “x.”

But along the way, his path crashes. His course takes a diversion, going to ruins, like a car crash.

Every now and again, he experiences these mental car crashes. They became death by a thousand cuts, cutting his focus into shattered pieces, fractured time, depleted energy, and his mastery torn into irreparable fragments, never building to the grand spectacular he hoped to be.

Progress becomes a haphazard dance—some days, he inches forward... victorious; other days, he takes three steps backwards into the abyss of setbacks.

He becomes so accustomed to living this way that it becomes a routine.

A vicious cycle so ingrained that not taking action becomes his default setting.

In fact, His default is non-action.

His default is emotional eating, reaching for the bottle, excessive social media and the comfort of digital distraction. It’s putting off today and starting tomorrow.

Ask him directly why he failed, his face will grimace with pain and anger and he'll sprout a dozen ready-made excuses. Most are lies, until the weight of his suffering forces him to reveal the truth.

Why?

Why does he live this way?

Because he is engulfed by the firestorm that is the mind.

If he has not conquered his mind, how would he conquer the game?

The game of success.

The game of business.

The game of sport excellence.

The game of relationships.

The game of life.

If we analyze the average person’s existence, his life is plagued by fires in every corner. Family fractures, marriage problems, gnawing anxiety of unfulfilled ambitions, fear of failure to take bold decisions, past regrets, addictions, low self-esteem, business problems and on and on. His mind becomes a battlefield, overrun by a ceaseless barrage of involuntary thoughts that torments his emotions. He looks towards meditation, morning routines, self-help books, and internet gurus that do not help to solve his problems.

These “mental car crashes” are blockages.

…Maybe he doesn’t really want it.

Is this a blockage? Absolutely, because he is wasting valuable years chasing after a thing that will unlikely materialize by his way of half-heartedness.

Not having clarity on what you really want is one of the biggest blockage of all. The lack of sincerity to one ambitions is a roadblock to one's journey to self-actualization.

In order for man to have what he wants, he must go on a journey into himself. He must decipher the “game within the game” that is his mind.

In doing so, he finds liberation. He becomes free. And when his free, he is free to express his innate creativity without the constant “car crashes.”

He won't require motivation, routines or the internet guru telling him what to do. He will chart his own course, leaving resonances that reverberate across the world. The universe will sense it. And in return, the universe will respond positively to his authentic expression.

Start the game here. Mind first, business second. Mind first, relationship second. Mind first, all other goals secondary.

The sad reality is....there is that one person who truly feels his put on earth for something special. His ambition brimmed him with energy and creative ideas. Optimistic that he were destined for something extraordinary and indeed, that is precisely what nature had intended.

Alone by himself, he imagines himself becoming great, celebrated, admired and adored by others.

But as he grows into an adult, he finds himself stuck on the brink, lingering on the edge, eagerly awaiting for that one small spark that will finally propel him towards his destiny.

Unfortunately, time runs out. He grows old. The years slip away, leaving behind the bitter taste of regret. He looks back on a life unfulfilled, haunted by the echoes of what could have been.
